*CALL TO WORSHIP

Jesus comes calling, telling us that the time of God’s kingdom has

come near.

We want to be a part of the kingdom.

Jesus comes calling, telling us to repent and believe the Good News.

We really need to hear and believe the Good News.

Jesus comes calling, asking us to leave our old lives behind and live a

new life with him, in God’s love.

But if we leave everything and follow Jesus, we will have nothing.

Not nothing, but everything we need, God will show us the way to fill

our needs.

So we will come, we will follow, we will become the disciples of Jesus.

Let us come, let us follow, let us worship and offer praise.

OPENING PRAYER

Comforting God, we come to you today standing on the shorelines of our lives, standing at the in-between time of the recent past and the now, seeking connections between the waters of creation

and the dry land we currently stand on.

May what transpires today fill us with a love greater than we have

ever experienced. And may the Holy Spirit seek us out, inspire us, and bring us to a place where our relationship will be built stronger by your loving presence. Amen.

THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name: Thy

kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our

trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;

for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever

and ever. Amen.
